Cockatoo Portrait
Sulfur Crested Cockatoos are very intelligent birds that are common in the Eastern states of Australia. They are well known for their loud, distinctive calls and for their large, sulfur-yellow crest, which they use to express a variety of emotions. In the case of this particular bird, the crest is raised just after it landed, while the Cockatoo observed its surroundings, and myself, capturing its portrait.
