Cockatoo Pair
Sulfur Crested Cockatoos are very intelligent and highly social birds. They are often seen foraging large flocks, while a few individual birds watch out for predators.
This pair however were observed feeding by themselves on wild sunflowers. They showed a great affection towards one another. One bird was carefully holding pieces of the sunflower for the other to eat, while gently nuzzling against it.
Quite a special sight to see.
