Fingal Head Planet

The Giants Causeway in Fingal Head is a breathtaking place to visit, especially with such energetic waves storming through the causeway itself.

I love the Panoramic Planet style of imaging to show off all that a location has to offer, and I feel it really suited this gorgeous spot.

My camera was carefully perched on top of one of the protruding ends of the ancient basalt columns, which gave a great overview of the eroded columns on the beach towards the sunset and the outcrop on the other side of the causeway. Closer to the centre of the image, the columns high above the water line are still visible, although slightly hidden within the soil that is out of the ocean's touch.

As always, star trails add a completely unique perspective to this style of imaging, something I feel this gorgeous location truly deserved.
