Hong Kong Pink Sky

The Hong Kong cityscape is one of the most incredible skylines in the world, and taking in the sheer number of unique, magnificent buildings rising from the island is an immersive experience. It takes time to absorb the sight of all the enormous buildings crowded together on such a small strip of land, between the harbour and the base of the mountains. To enhance the superb view, height restrictions on the city's buildings have ensured that Victoria Peak and the stunning mountains behind the city remain in view and complement the man-made beauty beneath. It’s what makes Hong Kong so special, the monumental urban jungle spread amongst stunning hilly islands.

This panorama was taken from Tsim Sha Tsui, looking south to Hong Kong Island at sunset. A fine layer of high cirrus cloud caught the last of the Sun’s rays and cast a beautiful soft pink hue over everything below.
