Singapore Evening

Singapore, also known as the Garden City, is a lush, picturesque city-state, just north of the equator in Southeast Asia. With a focus on clean, healthy living, and many stunning modern buildings it is a perfect location to relax, explore and photograph.

This panorama was taken early in the evening from the marina promenade, looking across the reservoir towards the iconic Marina Bay Sands, the Art Science Museum, and Gardens by the Bay. The water in the marina was beautifully still and calm, reflecting the nearby city lights impressively. The magnificent buildings themselves were illuminated perfectly against the softening evening light, highlighting the beautiful shapes of the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forrest Dome in the Gardens by the Bay, and the striking gracious curves of the Marina Bay Sands.

I was very lucky to capture this piece as I have never seen the water in the marina quite so still and calm, without a single vessel or hint of breeze disturbing it, and the reflected lights and buildings really make this image complete.
