Singapore Gardens Planet

Singapore is known as a ‘Garden City,’ a place of lush ample greenery, and healthy living. Many parks and nature reserves have been established, millions of trees planted, and the island has a focus on having a clean, healthy environment to live in. Singapore has become a beautiful mix of unique, modern architecture side by side with pristine green spaces.

The magnificent Gardens by the Bay is one such example of these nature parks, a tranquil series of waterfront gardens adjacent to the iconic Marina Bay Sands. Within the gardens lies the ‘Supertree Grove,’ comprised of elegant tree-like structures; man-made vertical gardens housing many species of plants. Their striking tubular form caught my eye and seemed the perfect subject for a Panoramic Planet.

I captured this image at night as the lighting on these unique structures makes them really pop out of the image, and gives this finished piece a very surreal, almost otherworldly feel.
